For by grace you are saved through faith, and this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God.
Ephesians 2:8

Lord of Life has a biblically based theological stance. We believe that all people, except the Messiah, are sinners; that through our sin, we have become separated from the Eternal; that if we believe Christ paid the penalty we owe for our sin, and we are baptized, then we are saved. God's goodness and loving kindness has afforded us a means of grace.

We are Christian people
We are not perfect, but we are forgiven
We are not self righteous, but we are counted as righteous
We did not find Jesus, but God comes to us in Jesus
We proclaim God's gracious love in Christ

You are a worshiper, not a spectator. Lutheran worship invites the active, full, conscious participation of each worshiper. As a worshiper, you will be invited to listen to God's word and to receive Holy Communion. You will have the opportunity to confess your faith, to praise God, to pray, to offer yourself for God's mission, and to share the peace of the LORD. You will hear a sermon that sets the meaning of salvation through Christ in the context of hope and grace.
